CM Bugti seeks probe into brutal killing of love-marriage couple

Quetta — Following a distressing video of the murder that went viral online and sparked nationwide anger, Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has ordered a swift and thorough investigation into the brutal murder of a man and a woman.

The vicious murder of the two people at an unnamed location appears to be captured in the video, which has gone viral on social media. Many people think the murders had something to do with “honour,” a tradition that still incites anger and contempt in Pakistan.

Bugti instructed law enforcement to quickly locate the crime scene and apprehend all of the perpetrators, according to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office.

“The rule of law will not be compromised,” Bugti declared. “Anyone who disobeys governmental authority will suffer severe repercussions. Nobody has the authority to enforce the law on their own.

The killings were also denounced by government spokesperson Shahid Rind, who described them as “a profound transgression of our social and moral principles” and “utterly disgraceful.”

He reassured the populace that the administration of Balochistan is totally dedicated to upholding justice.

Rind declared, “We will not stand by and watch such cruelty.” “We’ll take all required legal action to hold the offenders accountable.”

The public has also been urged by authorities to come forward with any information that can help identify the murderers.
