Wednesday Season 2 Will Snap Back This Summer
Welcome to the Summer of Sorrow: Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) is set to make her comeback on your screens, with Part 1 of Season 2 premiering on Aug. 6, and Part 2 on Sept. 3. New adversaries and troubles lie ahead for everyone’s beloved storm cloud in this latest installment located within the Gothic corridors of Nevermore Academy. The cast assembled in London to commemorate upcoming new episodes during the Season 2 world premiere in England.
“This season, Wednesday’s adventure is grimmer and more intricate as she confronts family, friendships, fresh enigmas, and past foes, driving her straight into another year at Nevermore,” co-showrunners and executive producers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar inform Tudum.
Equipped with her trademark cutting humor and unwavering composure, Wednesday finds herself immersed in a fresh, spine-tingling paranormal enigma. Throughout the journey, viewers will encounter recognizable characters — the entire Addams Family, featuring Morticia, Gomez, and Pugsley, all enjoy enhanced roles this season — and be introduced to several new and fascinating characters portrayed by a star-studded lineup.
“Season 2 reveals that appearances can be deceiving,” creator Miles Millar informs Tudum. “Wednesday enters this season believing she understands Nevermore.” This is the first occasion she has chosen to go back to a school. However, once she returns, nothing occurs that she anticipates. She believes she’ll have the upper hand, that she’s aware of all the secrets, but she doesn’t.
